Compound
Archery has been around for thousands of years. At first it was just a way of hunting and defense, but as humans developed so did archery. Archery as it is today is mainly broken up into two styles, recurve and compound. Compound bows are a much more modern version of the traditional recurve; they consist of pulleys and levers that make it much easier to pull the bow back. While compound bows are the most common bows used in bow-hunting, they also make quite the appearance in the competition scene. Some of the worlds best archers like Erika Jones, Reo Wilde, and Jesse Broadwater all shoot compound bows.
